The ACR OLAS App transforms your smartphone or tablet into a reliable Man Overboard Alarm system, assisting in swift recovery operations to rescue individuals who have fallen overboard, such as crew members, children, or pets.

When utilized in conjunction with either the ACR OLAS TAG or the ACR OLAS FLOAT-ON beacons, the OLAS mobile application technology promptly detects a disruption in its 'virtual tether' to the ACR OLAS Tag and/or Float-On within a mere 8 seconds of a transmitter becoming disconnected. Subsequently, the mobile device emits an alert and logs the precise latitude and longitude of the incident utilizing the GPS feature of the phone or tablet.

ACR OLAS proves invaluable in guiding the crew during Man Overboard (MOB) retrieval by providing clear instructions to navigate towards the GPS location of the MOB utilizing visual signals and bearing data. Moreover, ACR OLAS conveniently stores all location data and incident timestamps, critical information that is essential for emergency response services.
